Monmouth-Roseville High School Speech Team Advance to Sectionals in Eleven Events

The M-R Speech team hosted IHSA Regionals this weekend, finishing just 7 points behind second place United Township High School. The Titans competed in finals in all 13 events that they brought to competition and advanced to Sectionals in 11 events. The team was led in scoring by Drew Carlson who was Regional champion in both Dramatic Interpretation and Humorous Interpretation. Also advancing to Sectionals next weekend at Washington High School are Olivia Rogers, Sawyer Fletcher, Jennika Raymond, Matthew Blackford, Anthony Mendez, Eduardo Chavez, and Rowan Love. The team is currently ranked among the top 50 teams in the state of Illinois.
