With spring just around the corner, the warm summer temperatures will be here before you know it, which means now is the time to start thinking about air conditioner maintenance. IHC Heating & Cooling Owner Justin McKeown, offers these tips to homeowners:

“Keep an eye on your filters, that is the number one thing that anybody can do. It is super simple to check and see. The one-inch filters are generally a monthly air filter. The four-inch ones or five-inch, you can get six months to eight months, depending on pets or whatever you have in the home. We have to get the weather over 60 degrees, 60 to 65 degrees, before we can start checking air conditioners to get the pressures right. We really can’t do a whole lot with the air conditioners until then.”

IHC Heating & Cooling provides 24-hour emergency services.
