Miss Lisa K. Boyd, 68, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 8:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at her home.

She was born November 23, 1956, in Galesburg, Illinois to George G. and Maybelle L. (Hayes) Boyd. 

Surviving is a sister, Christine L. Boone of Roscoe, Illinois, two nieces, Shauna L. (and Adam) Larson of Orangeville, Illinois and Andrea M. Boone of Rockton, Illinois, and great niece and nephews, Colton Boone, Lola Larson and Oliver Larson.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lisa graduated from Galesburg High School in 1974.  She was a service representative for the Social Security Administration for 22 years and retired in 2001. 

Cremation will be accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.  The cremation burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com
