As the Illinois Community College Board has reported increased enrollment across the states, four-year colleges and universities have also seen an increase, reports Monmouth College President Dr. Patricia Draves:

“At Monmouth, we definitely brought in some transfer students, I think 25 this spring. Our transfer student rates are looking up for the fall as well, but applications are up for the fall, 16 to 17 percent, so we are projecting next year’s class to be larger than this year’s class. Right here in Warren County, people are seeing the value of Monmouth and applications are up 35 percent. We look forward to some of our local students being with us.”

On April 29th, students currently enrolled at Monmouth College will take part in Scholar Day from 2 to 4 pm in the Huff Athletic Center to showcase their research projects in the arts, history, culture, sciences, and beyond.
