Monmouth-Roseville Softball Off to Great Start

Share

After winning only two games all of last season, the Monmouth-Roseville Titan softball squad has already matched that total through their first 3 games of 2025. The Titans are (2-1), with wins over Abingdon-Avon and Princeville. That’s the best start to a season in at least 10 years. The Titans are a young bunch, with just one senior and one junior on the roster. Monmouth-Roseville head coach Jarrod Hippen is in his 8th season as the top dog in the softball program and he’s seen steady progress from year to year so far and is happy with the results so far early in this season.

The Titans will get back on the field on Friday night with a home game against Erie-Prophetstown at their new permanent home at South Park in Monmouth. The Titans have 4-games on the road on four straight nights next week, from Tuesday to Friday.
