A new pet store will be opening this spring in the Galesburg community, shares Knox County Area Partnership President Ken Springer:
“It is going to be called Dante & Dory’s. It is going to be located at the intersection of Main Street and Seminary Street. Their slogan is ‘more than a traditional pet shop.’ The owner is Candace D’Agnolo, who has a ton of pet industry experience, so really, really excited to see what she does with the store. She is planning self-wash stations, an open play space for events, grooming salon, and a training program, in addition to all the pet retail items that you would like to see in the store. Really excited to see that building be repurposed. Really excited to see how this impacts Downtown Galesburg.”
Dante & Dory’s: A Pet Destination will be in the former Dollar General location on the corner of Main and Seminary in Downtown Galesburg.
