The Central Warren Firemen’s Association will be hosting their first annual “Half-Tanked” fundraising event Saturday, June 28th in Kirkwood. Trevor Davies, Captain of the Cameron Station, shares the events of the day:

“We are going to start the day out with a pancake and sausage breakfast at the Kirkwood Fire Station in the morning. As the day progresses, I know there is going to be some local vendors there to have some things they can sell. We are going to have a bags tournament. Big Bucks Barbecue is going to be cooking barbecue for lunch and dinner. That evening we are excited to have Captain Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters as a live performance at eight o’clock that night and we are going to have a beer garden. We did get permission from the village and got all the licensing so that we are able to have a beer garden there for the concert. Something different that we have never done before, but a chance to bring the communities together and have a little fun.”

The “Half-Tanked” event will be held from 7 am to 11 pm on Saturday, June 28th on the grounds of the Kirkwood Fire Station, located at 405 East Walnut Street.
