Seven candidates are running for four open positions on the United Board of Education, shares Superintendent Tom Hawkins:

“We have four positions open and of those four positions, three of those candidates, from my understanding, are going to run again and then we also have four additional, so seven total candidates for four spots. We are blessed. That is something that I can say for a small district, that is truly a blessing to have that many people that want to be involved.”

On the April 1st Consolidated Election ballot, the seven candidates running to serve a four-year term on the United Board of Education are Chris Menge, Josh Oaks, Hank Shimmin, Jill Jenks, Katrina Kessler, Holly Tharp, and Danny Toops.
