Three life-saving awards were presented to members of the Monmouth Police Department for their actions on a call last year, shares Communications Director Ken Helms:

“Three life-saving awards were presented to Investigator AJ Cox, Sergeant Luke Johnson, and Patrolman Larry Myers. These life-saving awards were for an incident that occurred last year where there was two young individuals that suffered some pretty severe vehicle induced trauma. They provided a lot of care to them there on scene when they got there first and then helped with the paramedics that had positive benefits to the patients.”
