The next phase of the West Harlem Avenue project in Monmouth will be taking place during the week of March 10th as Advanced Plumbing and Mechanical has been awarded the bid to complete the tie ins of the water treatment plant that will be constructed in the future. With this major project, traffic control has been a main topic, explains Communications Director Ken Helms:

“That particular portion is actually being handled by Woodard and Curran and their support staff that is there, but I do know they have talked to them the traffic control is going to be a little bit tricky there, but no matter what there is always going to be a route that they can take. Then also talking with GHAS about that for the ambulance transport as well. There is always going to be a path there and it will be clearly marked; it is just that is going to take quite a bit to set up.”

Monmouth City Council anticipates the road resurfacing of the West Harlem Avenue project to begin in May or June of this year.
