“We had two young ladies at our Junior High level that were recognized in the Illinois Elementary Music Association as All-State musicians. We had Abby Green and Natalie Grant both recognized for being on the All-State Chorus. We provided them with a little certificate of appreciation and recognized them in front of the Board, then we have them go around shake everybody’s hand and also invite the parents. We also had one of our early educators, Mr. Darrin Ross, who teaches English-Language Arts for us at the High School level. He was recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education with an award for Excellence as an Early Career Educator.”

Additionally, the United Board of Education approved the school calendar for next year with the start date being August 13th.
