Warren County Waterbugs Swim 128 Combined Personal Best Times at Districts

The Warren County Waterbugs Swim Team had a very successful weekend at their Illini District Championship meet. Of the 40 athletes that qualified, 38 competed and recorded a combined 128 personal best swim times. The Waterbugs came home with four Illini District Champions: Harper O’Daniel in the 10U 100 Freestyle; Everitt Gibson in the 12U 50 Breaststroke and 12U 100 Breaststroke; and the Mixed 10U 200 Freestyle Relay of Riley Stewart, Jakob O’Daniel, Emersyn Phillips, and Harper O’Daniel. Additionally, the Waterbugs Swim Team brought home two banners, placing 2nd Overall in the 8U Boys and 2nd Place Overall in 10U Girls. In two weeks, 23 athletes with the Warren County Waterbugs Swim Team will compete at the State Championship meet.
