Beverly J. Lundeen, 74, of Galesburg, died at 5:52 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, following a short illness.

She was born May 24, 1950, in Macomb, the daughter of Charles Merle and Marilyn Irene (Watson) Cavett. She married Roger D. Lundeen on April 17, 1982, in Macomb. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2018.

She is survived by her children, Justin Lundeen of Galesburg and Traci Lundeen of Macomb; a granddaughter, Shannon Lundeen; a great granddaughter, Chade Lundeen; two brothers, Lynn (Cindy) Cavett and Lonnie (Vickie) Cavett, both of Macomb; a niece; and three nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Bev graduated from Colchester High School in 1968 and went on to attend beauty school in Quincy. She worked as a hairdresser for a time. The many years she worked as a waitress at The Packinghouse were very enjoyable to her. Bev enjoyed sewing, often times making items for charity, like baby items and masks during the Pandemic. She also enjoyed reading. When Roger was living, they belonged to the Gold Wing Club and the Corvette Club. Bev never met a stranger and enjoyed talking with others.

Private family graveside service will be Friday in East Linwood Cemetery. Pastor Jordon Knight will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Knox County Humane Society. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral and Cremation Services is honored to serve the family.
