Tre Spinks, Resource Coordinator at the Jamieson Community Center, says there are three main insecurities he sees in our area.

“We have seen, of course in the area, food insecurity, we see job insecurities, there is a housing insecurity as well, so we want to make sure that we hit those areas, make sure that we are able to extend a branch to make sure that the people actually know what all is out there. It isn’t the end of the world. We can make sure that they can build toward a brighter future.”

Spinks says, the Jamieson Community Connections Office on S Main St is here to help. The Connections Office will provide you with the resources and help set goals to get you back on your feet.
