Burlington Police Respond to Armed Robbery

On April 7, 2025, at approximately 9:10 PM, Burlington Police Officers responded to a report of an Armed Robbery at an apartment within Steamboat Landing Apartments, at 300 Angular. Upon arrival, officers located a victim that had been assaulted and identified items taken from the residence. The adult male victim was transported by ambulance to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
