The Monmouth Resource Center, which houses Jamieson Community Center’s Food Pantry, Thrift Store, and now Community Resources, explains Executive Director Nancy Mowen:

“We were fortunate enough to receive a three-year grant from Hunger Collaborative, the Community Health Foundation of Henderson and Warren Counties, and the United Way of Greater Warren County to provide a full-time staff position. Tre Spinks has filled that role. He has his bachelor’s degree in psychology. One of the expansions to this program, Tre will listen to a person, talk about different areas, and help them to discover resources that may really help build that safety net under them so they can live. We also know that not everybody has a positive support system around them, so Tre will be on that journey with them.”

The Monmouth Resource Center, located at 1120 South Main Street, is open Mondays through Fridays 10 am to 4 pm.
