On Friday, April 4th, the Recharge Teen Center is partnering with the Communications Class at Monmouth College, taught by Lori Kramer, to host their Quarter Auction Fundraiser at Meks on Main. Assistant Director Jess Ferguson explains the event:

“A quarter auction is a fundraiser where you have a chance to win items, not based off of how much money you can provide, like a typical auction, but each item has a set number of quarters that you have to place to bid on it. If something is in the $0 to $25 price range, for example, it might be one quarter. So, anybody who wants to bid on that item puts their quarter in the bucket, holds up their paddle, and then if you did bid and your number is drawn, you win the item.”

Doors will open at 5 pm at Meks on Main for the Recharge Teen Center Quarter Auction, which will begin at 6 pm. Entry fee is $5 per person and includes one paddle.
