Supporting Local Farmers Through Illinois Farm Bureau Memberships

Share

A sustainable food supply for families across the world begins with a farmer. Whether you live on a farm, in a rural community, or a large city, becoming a member of the Illinois Farm Bureau is an effective way to show support of the agriculture community, explains Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Manager Ashlyn Quinn:

“In this Monmouth community, how much to we depend on agriculture? We have Smithfield, which is a huge agricultural plant and if you go out of town any direction two minutes, you are already in rural America. You can recognize your community depends a lot on agriculture and you can support that by signing up to be a Farm Bureau member and we try to make that membership worth your while. We talk about all the benefits, but there are also conferences, there are programs that even not as a farmer, we can get you involved in and make sure you are getting professional development or networking or community; whatever it is you want from that membership, we can help you get that.”

For $20 a year, an Illinois Farm Bureau membership not only supports agriculture, it provides you with access to more than 300,000 discounts, including hotels, vehicles, lawn and farm equipment, and wellness.
