Warren County Board in Discussion with Two Firms on Courthouse Steps Project

Share

Two companies are interested in placing bids for completing the steps and porch area at the Warren County Courthouse, explains Buildings and Ground Committee Chair Sean Cavanaugh:

“We are finalizing how that is going to be taken care of. We have two firms interested and we have gone over some basic details with them that may be expertise language for us, but it is vague for them. So, some more language is being created that speaks masonry language. This way they know exactly what they are bidding on. We just want to make sure that they have the exact, perfect language so the taxpayers will make sure it is the most efficient bids.”

The Warren County Board will be holding a special meeting at 6 pm tonight (Monday, April 21st) in the Board Room at the Courthouse, with motions to amend the County’s procurement policy to follow state and federal policies, hiring a firm to write the Request for Proposal for the jail project, and approve a deputy clerk.
