Warren County Waterbugs Bring Home Seven State Championship Banners

Share

The Warren County Waterbugs Swim Team had another successful season. Twenty-three swimmers competed at state and come home with some more banners to display at the YMCA, informs Coach Ashlyn Quinn:

“We brought home some more banners for the YMCA. We have our 8 and under Boys Champs, our 10 and under Girls and 10 and under Boys State Champs, 12 and under Boys, which was accomplished by just one swimmer all on his own, and then our Girls, Boys, and our combined team all were State Champs. So, we have seven more banners from state that will be making their appearance on the pool wall at the Y pretty soon, hopefully, for everyone to see. Really proud of all the kids were able to accomplish.”

Coach Quinn is looking to add a more relaxed summer swimming program for the Waterbugs to potentially make an appearance at the Long Course State Meet.
