Western Illinois University Athletics will host the 2025 WIU Intercollegiate at TPC Deere Run on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5. This tournament will feature WIU’s men’s and women’s golf teams, along with other teams from around the country, competing on one of the premier golf courses in the Midwest.

In advance of the start of the tournament, WIU alumni and supporters are invited to a special reception from 4:30-6 p.m., Thursday, April 3, at TPC Deere Run. Attendees will have a chance to meet the WIU golf teams and hear from WIU President Kristi Mindrup and Athletic Director Paul Bubb, while enjoying light appetizers and a cash bar. The event welcomes all WIU alumni and those interested in supporting Leatherneck men’s and women’s golf.

Additionally, local high school golf teams are invited to attend the tournament on Saturday, April 5. The WIU Intercollegiate event offers young athletes a unique opportunity to observe high-level play and engage with collegiate golfers.

For alumni interested in volunteer opportunities, sponsorship opportunities or attending the Thursday, April 3, event, contact The WIU Alumni Association, at A-Association@wiu.edu or call (309) 298-1914.
