The Buchanan Center for the Arts in Monmouth, Illinois, announces the deadlines for 64ARTS entries in their national juried exhibition showcasing visual artwork from artists across the United States. The deadline is Saturday, June 7, 2025. Artists may enter up to three pieces of artwork for $30.
This exhibition promotes the importance of the arts in the Warren County community and surrounding region. It is open to artists working in all mediums. Work must be original and created within the last two years. Works created under the direction of an instructor will not be accepted. Source material must be original and not derived from copyrighted images. Work previously exhibited at the Buchanan Center for the Arts will not be accepted.
Ian Shelly is the juror for 64ARTS. He is an Assistant Professor of Art (Ceramics) at Western Illinois University and received his MFA from the University of Missouri. Shelly is an artist and educator utilizing all media and heritage in the canon of western art and craft. His work has been featured in numerous venues around the county as well as in publications within the field of ceramics.
