Over 140 kindergarten through 6th grade students will be a part of the Warren County YMCA Camp Meskwaki Summer Day Camp. Camp Director Biancha Luna shares the kids will participate in a variety of activities:
“Camp Meskwaki is a 10-week summer day camp program that runs from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm where you can drop your kids off. We do swimming every morning at the Pattee Outdoor Pool. You benefit our Y using the gym, the outdoor playground, Kidtropolis, and we go on lots of field trips throughout the community. We go to the Teen Center, the Monmouth College Farm, the fire station, the library, and we have a couple of bigger field trips for the kiddos as well. Plus, we are going to be doing a Camp Meskwaki Olympics at the end of camp.”
Camp Meskwaki at the Warren County YMCA runs June 2nd through August 8th.
