Monmouth Mayor Recognizes Police Officer Week

Monmouth Mayor Rod Davies has declared this week as Police Officer Week:

“I did a proclamation declaring Police Officer Week from May 11th through the 17th and Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15th for those who made the ultimate sacrifice during their time of service. We want to recognize the great job our police officers do for this community and all around the country.”

Events for National Police Week take place through Saturday, May 17th in Washington, D.C., with the 37th Annual Candlelight Vigil, honoring the fallen officers, on Tuesday, May 13th.
