New Programs, Growing Enrollment, and Bright Horizons for Monmouth College

Share

With another academic year in the books, the faculty, staff, and administration at Monmouth College are in the midst of a Program Prioritization Process, identifying strengths are areas for growth, explains President Dr. Patricia Draves:

“Our number one goal is to differentiate ourselves and grow so that people can see the excellence at Monmouth College. You will see some changes in the portfolio of academic programming. We added nursing and we have 23 students coming in for nursing this year in our partnership with OSF. We expect an accreditation of our engineering program with our first graduating class. I know we are welcoming 17 students in engineering in the fall as well. But those top majors are ones that we are looking to expand and doing some research on our role in agricultural business. We have some plans for that, not only for Monmouth students, but what are some workforce development needs to meet the community.”

Dr. Draves informs enrollment at Monmouth College is trending up significantly, with more than double attending from within an hour of campus.
