Raymond L. Mesecher III, 30, of Monmouth, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. 

He was born on April 5, 1995, in Monmouth, the son of Raymond and Lynda (Ray) Mesecher. Ray was raised and educated in Monmouth and Pittsfield, IL.

Ray drove a truck for Holmes Lifestock and Carrier Services as well as several other locations. His favorite thing was driving his truck, looking cool on his stool. He cherished time spent with his nieces and nephews and especially loved fishing and riding four-wheelers with his friends.

Surviving Ray are his parents, Ray (Ruby) Mesecher of Rockport, IL and Lynda Mesecher of Galesburg, IL; his siblings, Brittany Smith of San Antinio, TX, Gregory Fentress, Brandom Fulmer, Allie Mesecher, all of Pleasant Hill, IL, Jehrid Churchill of Galesburg, Marissa Fulmer of Bolling Green, MO and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind two special friends, Jena Miller of Monmouth and Kayla Ramage of Galesburg.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and cousin Johnny Mesecher.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Monmouth Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Raymond Mesecher Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
