United Red Storm boys and girls track and field teams are continuing their stellar 2025 campaign, the Red Storm competed in the Rockridge Invite last week as well as the Mick Louck Invite at Mercer County High School on Tuesday. The Red Storm had 17 top 5 finishes between both of the Invites. Rosie Flynn set a new school record this weekend in her individual event, shares United Athletic Director, Jeremy Sharp.

Rosie Flynn’s time of 59.66 seconds is the first sub 1 minute, 400 meter in school history, surpassing her former teammate Reece Bertelsen’s time of 1:00.56 set in 2024. Flynn is also a part of the uber-successful 4×100, 4×200 and 4×400 relay teams. This season’s relays are merely missing one piece, a graduated Reece Bertelsen, from last year’s teams that placed 2nd, 1st and 4th respectively in those events at last spring’s state finals. The 4×200 team set a state finals record. Besides Rosie Flynn, this year’s relay teams consist of a mix of Katie Flynn, Emrick Huston, Callie Hall and Emma Austin.
