Graduation is an exciting time in a person’s life as it symbolizes personal growth, transformation, and advancement into the next chapter. Regional Office of Education #33 Assistant Superintendent Lori Loving explains the excitement through their Alternative School and Adult Education Programs:

“Specific to our office, we have the Alternative School Program that serves middle school and high school students who need an alternative setting for their education, so they come to us from our local school districts. Many of the students will earn their high school diploma through us and we get to have a wonderful graduation with our Alternative School kids. Then we also have an Adult Education Program, where we have adults earning their high school equivalency certificates. That program has grown quite a bit, and we have a pretty large number of graduates that will be walking across the stage this year too.”

The graduation ceremonies for the Alternative School and Adult Education Programs with the Regional Office of Education will be held at Monmouth College.
