On April 24th, Western Illinois University had their tenth annual Western Challenge Day of Giving, where they received generous support from donors, reports Vice President of Student Success Justin Schuch:

“We had our Day of Giving just a couple of weeks ago, over 1,000 individuals helped us raise over $409,000. It was our tenth Day of Giving and the second highest day for us in those ten years. It was a really excellent day. It is our alums who are putting their dollars where their commitment is and helping the institution fund things like scholarships for students and future renovation projects.”

$160,000 in match and challenge gifts, made possible through alumni, friends, and supporters helped bring the total to $409,337 being raised for Western Illinois University during the 2025 Western Challenge Day of Giving.
