Miss Chellie D. Dahl, 57, of Monmouth, Illinois died at 12:40 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois. 

She was born April 20, 1968, in Galesburg to Edwin and Martha (Gattermeir) Dahl. 

Surviving are two brothers, Scott (and Brandi) Dahl of Springfield, Illinois and John Dahl of Galesburg, Illinois an aunt, Pamela (and Ronald) Lovell of Perry Park, Kentucky, several cousins, two nieces and two nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha L. Dahl, father Edwin Dahl and stepmother Connie Dahl. 

Chellie attended Knoxville schools and later graduated from Monmouth High School in 1986.  She continued her education at Carl Sandburg College where she received her C.N.A. degree.  She worked several jobs, including at Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville as a C.N.A. 

Cremation will be accorded.  A private cremation burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Galesburg.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared at www.h-p-w.com
