Test date for the Monmouth Fire Department is quickly approaching. Fire Chief Casey Rexroat shares applications can be picked up at the station:

“If you are interested in becoming a firefighter, come and talk to us, we will answer any questions that you might have. Come get an application, fill it out, and see how you do. We will have a couple positions open after we do test this year. Qualifications are that you have to be 21 years old to be hired, you have to have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and be a citizen of the United States. There are a few tests that go along with it, there is a written exam and a physical agility test that happen on the 21st. We encourage people if they are interested to come and grab an application.”

Applications are due this Friday, June 13th to the Monmouth Fire Department. Test date is Saturday, June 21st.
