Story by Parker Cassidy
Monmouth-Roseville Boys and Girls Soccer Head Coach Zach Statham is heading to Morton to take over the Potters’ soccer programs. Statham joined the Titans boys’ soccer program in the 2019-20 season, initially serving as co-head coach alongside Aaron Sikorski. He assumed full head coaching duties the following season. That same year 2020-21, he also launched the girls’ soccer program at Monmouth-Roseville. Over his tenure, Statham led the Titans to over 100 combined wins and a regional championship between the two programs. As he steps into his new role with the Morton Potters, Statham reflects on his time at Monmouth-Roseville, where he helped lay the foundation for long-term success on both the boys’ and girls’ sides.
The Morton Potters boys and girls soccer programs both have a long track record of success. The boys soccer program won 13 regional titles in a 17-year span from 2006-2022. The Lady Potters have captured 15 regional championships in the past 22 seasons. With Statham’s departure, the search is now on for the next head coach of the Titans soccer program.
