The Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to host a Cybersecurity Defense Workshop for local businesses, shares Executive Director Pam Gaither:
“We are partnering up with CISA, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency through Homeland Security. They are going to put on a Cybersecurity Defense Workshop for businesses. If something happens and you get a phone call from an FBI Agent, how do you know they are an actual person, that they are legitimate, and what steps need to be taken to protect your business, because these cybersecurity threats are creeping in and getting more prevalent unfortunately.”
The workshop will be held at the Galesburg Public Library on Tuesday, July 1st from 10:30 am to noon. For more information on the upcoming free event, contact the Galesburg Chamber at 309-343-1194.
