- Several rounds of storms expected today through early Saturday, with the greatest coverage and severe threat this afternoon and evening.
- There is a level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather. Main hazards will be damaging wind, lightning, and flash flooding. A tornado or two can’t be ruled out if a line of storms form.
- Flash flooding risk has increased, especially in areas that received 2-4 inches of rain last night. Rises on area creeks and streams is also likely.
