Athletic Director Changes in the West Central School District

There’s a leadership change coming to West Central High School athletics. Superintendent Stacy Day says the school has hired a new Athletic Director for the 2025-26 school year.

West Central High School Athletics will get underway on August 19, as the golf team heads to Gibson Woods for a triangular meet. Day also shared that changes are coming at the junior high level. West Central Middle School will welcome a new Athletic Director and Junior High Baseball coach.

The Junior High Season will kick off on August 6th with Softball hosting Brimfield Junior High for a double-header. The Heat Junior High Baseball squad will not be far behind, starting their season off on the road at Carthage on August 13.
