On Saturday, August 16th, the Monmouth Area Vocational Scholarship is hosting their 5th Annual Music Trivia fundraising event at the Monmouth American Legion. Melissa Johnston shares who the proceeds benefit and how you can participate:
“We provide scholarships to students going into trade schools. This effects the Monmouth area, so that is Monmouth-Roseville, United, and West Central High School students. We are having a music trivia event with J&J Entertainment. People can register their teams up to ten people. Mulligans and doublers are included. You can register either via text at 309-536-0278 or by email at mavscholarship@gmail.com.”
Doors will open at 5 pm with trivia starting at 6:30 pm at the Monmouth American Legion for the Monmouth Area Vocational Scholarship fundraising event. Brisket or fish dinners will also be available for dine-in or carryout from 5 to 7 pm for a free will donation and a silent auction taking place from 5 to 8 pm.
