The Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education has approved a Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Monmouth-Roseville Education Association, reports Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“Our teachers will get a four percent raise, plus their step raise, for the next four years. We did sign a four-year contract. Our ESP’s are getting a good raise, the first-year six percent and then the three following years three percent after that. We did some things for bonuses for our long-standing ESP’s, which we are very proud of. We increased bus driver salaries, so it is a good contract.”

Important upcoming dates for the Monmouth-Roseville School District, new teacher orientation is August 14th, opening day teacher institutes will be August 18th and 19th, and the first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 20th.
