Two Charged with First Degree Murder in Macomb Homicide Investigation

On July 27th, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Macomb Police Department was made aware of an alleged homicide which had occurred in the 600 block of North Randolph St. Macomb, IL. Upon an investigation and a future search of the residence, a deceased adult male was located and identified as Bryson Saddoris (21, Macomb). During the course of the investigation, two suspects were identified. Those suspects being Sean Hayes (37, Macomb) and Morgan Bearce (24, Macomb). Both subjects were located and detained by the Macomb Police Department on July 27th, 2025. On July 29th,
2025, the McDonough County States Attorney’s Office formally charged Bearce with First Degree Murder and Obstructing Justice. Hayes was also charged with First Degree Murder and Obstructing Justice. Both subjects have been detained and are currently housed at the McDonough County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information pertaining to this case should contact the Macomb Police Department.
