The United Lions JFL Tackle Football team has their signup coming up. The first date will be this Sunday, July 20th at the Little York Ball Field from 11am-1pm. The second chance to signup will be Saturday, July 26th at the Alexis Park from 9-11am. The league is for students starting 5th or 6th grade in the upcoming school year. Bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate and the payment of $110 to one of the signup dates. Each player will need a school or sports physical before starting practice on August 6th. Games will be played at various locations, starting on August 24th, with the season culminating with the Superbowl on October 12th.. There will be a United Skills Camp on July 31st and August 2nd at United High School. If you’re not able to attend the Skills Camp, there will be a 2-day combine on August 4th and 5th at Wessels Park in Galesburg. For more information, see the United JFL Facebook page.
