School is back in session, which means fall sports are in full swing. Advanced Rehab and Sports Medicine Clinic Manager Doug Price reminds parents and coaches of free screenings for athletes and the treatments for a variety of injuries:
“With fall, you really get a nice variety of injuries. Backs and hips, knees, ankles, and for volleyball you get into the shoulder. It is quite a wide variety of things, but this is go time when all the kids get back into school. We really treat everything from head to toe,” states Price.
“We try to tell all the coaches to give us a call, we still do offer the free screens, that is kind of how the whole thing started, because these kids needed to know if it was something to be concerned about, do they need to go to the doctor, do they need x-rays; what do we think. That is our specialty,” Price adds.
Advanced Rehab and Sports Medicine is located at 1201 East Broadway in Monmouth.
