I am honored to have served as your Sheriff for the past term and I’m excited to announce that I am running for re-election. With the support of the office and community I am proud of what we have accomplished. Since my last election we have been able to implement several technology and infrastructure upgrades, expand our K9 program, improve water search and rescue, begin a TRIAD program, add medical equipment to our squad cars, and add a drone; all to help with the efficiency of the office and safety of the communities.
Having been a life-long resident and a law enforcement officer for the past 23 years in Henderson County, I understand the needs and values of our community.
I am very proud of my office and the way we have adapted to the ever challenging “Safe-T Act” and other laws that have changed law enforcement in the past couple of years.
There are other programs I would like to implement and have been working on, such as a School Resource Officer and adding less-lethal tools to our equipment.
I look forward to building upon our progress and serving Henderson County through continued experience, knowledge, and leadership by example, I am again asking for your support to be re-elected as Sheriff.
