Tonight, at the Warren County History Museum, retired Magician, Historian, and Author William Pack will be presenting on the World’s Greatest Magician: The Great Houdini, shares Executive Director Dr. Eugene Watkins:

“It is based on a book that he wrote called The Essential Houdini. This man has a wide variety of talks that he does, anything from scientific to historical things and his other aspect is magic. This is not just a lecture on Houdini, he does do some of the magic and I guess he will show some of the illusions and things that Houdini had. The other interesting aspect for the talk is that I understand he has one of the only recordings of Houdini’s voice,” Dr. Watkins reports.

“The museum does have a letter that connects us to Houdini that was written by our own magician here, The Great Nicola. Apparently, Houdini and he were very big rivals and Houdini accused Nicola of stealing one of his illusions,” adds Dr. Watkins.

The lecture with William Pack this evening is free and open to the entire public and will begin at 7 pm at the Warren County History Museum.
