Members of the Monmouth Fire Department were recently recognized for their heroic efforts during a structure fire call, reports Communications Director Ken Helms:

“We had a Life-Saving Award that was given to Gold Shift. That consists of Captain Ryan Armstrong, Assistant Chief Craig Cozadd, Firefighter Paul Mangieri, and Firefighter Kyle Martin. They went on a structure fire call and performed a live save on a victim that was in there, so we did a recognition of their heroic efforts on that call.”

During the month of July, the Monmouth Fire Department responded to 125 incidents, 79 rescue or medical calls, 16 hazardous conditions, and four fires.
