The Red Storm are still searching for their first win after falling 26-6 at Havana in a Lincoln Land Small School matchup last Friday. The Ducks came out fast, building a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. United finally broke through in the second, when quarterback Kellen Boone connected with Koen Sperry on a 49-yard touchdown pass, trimming the deficit to 14-6. But that was the only score of the night for United, as Havana tacked on two more touchdowns and carried a 20-point cushion into the fourth. From there, both defenses held firm and the final stayed 26-6.

Everything clicked for the Monmouth-Roseville Titans last Friday as they rolled past Orion, 48-28. The Titans exploded for 28 points in the second quarter and piled up 425 rushing yards in total. Landon Montroy led the charge with 242 yards and four touchdowns, while Nick Huston added 123 yards and a score. Lars Bergren also struck on special teams with an 85-yard kickoff return. Monmouth-Roseville outgained the Chargers 425-267, improving to 2-0 for the second consecutive year.
The Titans are back on the road tonight at Kewanee for a TRAC West battle. The Boilermakers are 0-2, but Coach Jeremy Adolphson says they’re still a dangerous team:
