Three accomplished alumni, Robin Johnson, Mark Lovdahl, and Luke Raymond, will be inducted into the Monmouth-Roseville Hall of Achievement and one local citizen, Shawn Temple, will be honored with the Distinguished Service Award this weekend. Member of the Monmouth-Roseville Education Foundation, Mindy Youngquist, shares the events the inductees will participate in leading up to the ceremony Saturday morning:
“They will start at the High School Friday morning, and they will visit a total of I think 20 different classes and then we will get them to Roseville in the afternoon to the Junior High for an assembly. Then they will come back to be in the Homecoming parade and then they will be announced and recognized at halftime of the football game. Saturday morning at 10 am at the Warren County History Museum is our ceremony. It is a unique event. It always ends up being a little emotional. They get a chance to give their thanks and give their speeches. It is just a really nice event, and I would encourage everyone to come out.”
The Hall of Achievement was initiated in the Monmouth School District in 1993.
