Planning is underway for the annual Christmas on the Square event with the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce. Executive Director Andrea Monroe shares favorites and new attractions attendees can expect during the ‘Winter Wonderland’ themed event:
“We are going to bring back the scavenger hunt they had done a few years ago for the kids to get interactive with the businesses. We have the horse drawn carriage coming back. We have a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer bucking bull, the blowup slide is going to be back, and there is going to be a blowup train this year that they can crawl through. Santa is going to be at Robbins Resource Management with a lot of awesome backdrops for families to take their own pictures, along with then taking pictures with Santa. Then we have a glow in the dark putt putt and of course we are bringing back food trucks.”
The ‘Winter Wonderland’ Christmas on the Square event is set for Friday, December 5th from 5 to 8 pm in Downtown Monmouth.
