Here’s the WMOI/WRAM Athletes of the Week for the week ending September 7th, 2025:

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan Athlete of the Week is junior football player, Landon Montroy. In a 20-point blowout over Orion, Landon carried the football 24 times, bulling his way to 242 yards. He scored an amazing four touchdowns in the game, including a game-sealing 4 yard run right before halftime.

The United Red Storm Athlete of the Week is senior boys golfer, Aiden Martin. Aiden shot a 76 at the Red Storm Open at Gibson Woods, taking 2nd place, falling just short of the tournament championship by a scorecard tie-breaker. He used that as motivation to claim the Monmouth-Roseville class 1A Invite by shooting a 1-under par 70, winning by an amazing six strokes over 2nd place.

The West Central Heat Athlete of the Week is sophomore football player Graham Kelly. Graham is picking up right where he left off after a great freshman season. In a win over Ashton-Franklin Center, Graham ran for 237 yards on an incredible 36 carries. He scored two touchdowns in the game, as well.

The Galesburg Silver Streak Athlete of the Week is senior football player, Bradley Eaton. Bradley had a big hand in the Streak’s first win of the season over Limestone. He scored a total of three touchdowns, one rushing and two receiving. Bradley put up 65 total yards but none was bigger than his game-sealing touchdown late in the 3rd quarter.

The Abingdon-Avon Tornado Athlete of the Week is sophomore football player, Ryker Darst. In a close loss to perennial power Stark County, Ryker toted the football 22 times, rushing for 158 yards. He also caught a pass for 10 yards. Ryker showed his versatility on the fotoball field by making seven tackles on defense, as well.
