The United Red Storm earned their first win of the season in a Senior Night blowout over South Fulton, 54-18. It was also the first career win for Head Coach Andrew Goodwin. Leading the Red Storm offense was Chance Stewart with 71 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Kellen Boone added 67 rushing yards, two touchdowns on the ground, and 107 passing yards with two more scores. Nolan Jenks caught 75 yards worth of passes and a touchdown, while Wyatt Bockelman also hauled in a touchdown grab.

The Red Storm will have their hands full this week as they travel to Carthage to face a tough Illini West team sitting at 3-4, fighting for a playoff spot. United, now 1-6 after last week’s big win, will look to play spoiler and end the Chargers’ postseason hopes. The Monmouth-Roseville Titans have officially been crowned champions of the Three Rivers Mississippi Division for the second straight year after a huge win over Spring Valley Hall/Putnam County at Coach Dobry Field last Friday.
Monmouth-Roseville built a 31-6 lead at halftime, and the second half continued to trend the Titans’ way as they added four more rushing touchdowns on their way to a dominant 57-14 victory. The Titans were led on the ground by Nick Huston, who racked up a school-record 282 rushing yards along with four rushing touchdowns and one passing score. Landon Montroy also punched in two touchdowns of his own.
The Titans have a huge one tonight as they travel to Taylor Ridge for a matchup of TRAC division champions. Rockridge clinched the Three Rivers Rock Division title last week, setting up a clash of two undefeated perennial TRAC powers.
