This Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 Junior Miss Illinois Lia Barraza Sloan and Sabrina’s Bridal and Prom are hosting the Falling in Love Bridal and Prom Show at the Knights of Columbus in Galesburg from 1 to 3 pm, followed by the annual fashion show. Proceeds from this event will benefit Rainbow Rider’s Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center, which Lia shares the inspiration of choosing the organization:
“My brother has autism and three years ago, ever since then he has gotten better at his speech through talking with the horses. I just thought since they had to cancel a lot of lessons last year because of the weather, I thought I could fundraise money since I was doing my pageant. I thought I could raise money for Rainbow Riders so they can hopefully build an indoor arena.”
There will be numerous regional vendors on-site during the Falling in Love Bridal and Prom Show along with silent auction items up for grabs. Tickets are five dollars in advance or ten dollars at the door.
