The Regional Office of Education #33 Early Childhood Prenatal to Age 3 program serves families and children in Henderson, Knox, Mercer, and Warren Counties. Early Childhood Prenatal to Age 3 Family Educator, Gina Raymond, informs there is currently a wait list for services:

“We actually have a wait list. We have quite a bit of people who are interested in our program. What the program is, I go into the homes and do home visiting with families who have children prenatal, up to age three, and we go over various developmental activities with them to help their child’s’ development. We might refer to early intervention if we see a need. We will do every six months or sooner if the parent wants us too, but we do assessments on development. We don’t diagnose, because that is not what we do, but we will help the parent get the resources that they need. We partner with Loving Bottoms to get those diapering needs, so they don’t have to worry about being without.”

Family educators visit with the families and children enrolled in the Early Childhood Prenatal to Age 3 program on a weekly basis.
